What we collect
When you request quotes we collect your name. Email address. Phone number. Current and destination postcodes. Property size. Preferred moving date and any access notes you provide.
We also collect standard technical data such as IP address. Browser type and pages visited. Used to keep the site secure and understand which pages are useful.
How we use it
To pass your enquiry to the vetted removal companies you asked to be quoted by. So they can contact you with a price.
To respond to support enquiries. Investigate complaints about listed companies. And improve the accuracy of our local cost guides.
Who we share it with
Only the removal companies matched to your enquiry. And service providers who host the site and deliver email on our behalf. We do not sell personal data. And we do not share your details with companies you did not request quotes from.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries are retained for 24 months so we can resolve disputes and audit company conduct. Support emails are retained for 24 months. Technical logs are retained for 12 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request a copy of your data. Ask us to correct or delete it. Object to processing. Or withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@whichremovals.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
